Been sitting in silence for the past hour and change. Phrases like icon and legend don't begin to describe the impact of his work and gifts. Not sure how tomorrow is gonna go. I might just play his albums straight through. Might take requests to run some of our favorite records. I dunno. But l'll make a way to hold space for those who need it. And to thank and pay homage to one of the greatest to ever do it. Sending my love to his family, friends and loved ones.
